These terms cover all services I provide, whether through this website or in person. By booking a lesson, consultation, or any other service, you are agreeing to them.

2. Services offered

The following services are available:

All lessons and consultations are conducted in English and/or Polish. The specific scope of each service is agreed individually with each client before commencement.

3. Booking and confirmation

Services can be booked via the online calendar on this website (Cal.com), by email, or by direct message. A booking is confirmed when you receive a written confirmation from Patryk Korbut (email or message).

The free 30-minute introductory lesson is offered once per new client. It does not constitute a paid service and carries no payment obligation.

4. Pricing and payment

Current prices are listed on this website. Prices are stated in Polish złoty (PLN) and are gross prices. As an exempt entity under Polish tax law (usługi edukacyjne), no VAT is charged on teaching services.

Payment is accepted by bank transfer or cash, as agreed with the client. For lesson packages, payment is due in advance before the first lesson of the package begins. For single lessons, payment is due within 3 days of the lesson taking place.

Invoices (rachunki) are issued upon request for all services.

5. Cancellation and rescheduling

Cancellation by the client: A lesson may be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled start time. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice, or failure to attend without notice, will be counted as a completed lesson for payment purposes.

Cancellation by the service provider: In the event that a lesson must be cancelled by Patryk Korbut (illness, emergency), the lesson will be rescheduled at a mutually convenient time. No charge applies for lessons cancelled by the provider.

Packages: Unused lessons in a prepaid package are refundable on a pro-rata basis if you choose to cancel the package, provided at least 48 hours' notice is given before the next scheduled lesson.

6. Right of withdrawal (distance contracts)

Under the Polish Consumer Rights Act (Ustawa z dnia 30 maja 2014 r. o prawach konsumenta) and EU Directive 2011/83/EU, consumers who book services online or by telephone have a right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days of booking, without giving any reason.

However, if you have explicitly requested that the service begin before the 14-day withdrawal period expires (for example, by booking a lesson within that period), you acknowledge that your right of withdrawal is partially or fully lost upon commencement of the service.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, send a clear written statement to contact@patrykkorbut.pl. A model withdrawal form is available on request.

7. Intellectual property

All teaching materials, lesson plans, worksheets, and written content created by Patryk Korbut and shared with students remain the intellectual property of Patryk Korbut. These materials are provided for personal study use only and may not be reproduced, distributed, or resold without written permission.

Copywriting and editing work produced for clients becomes the client's property upon full payment.

8. Complaints procedure

If you are dissatisfied with any service, please contact me at contact@patrykkorbut.pl within 14 days of the issue arising. I will acknowledge your complaint within 3 business days and aim to resolve it within 14 days.

If a resolution cannot be reached, you may refer the matter to the Polish consumer protection authority: Urząd Ochrony Konkurencji i Konsumentów (UOKiK), uokik.gov.pl, or use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

9. Liability

Patryk Korbut provides teaching and language services with professional care and diligence. However, no specific learning outcomes (such as passing a particular exam) are guaranteed, as progress depends significantly on the student's own effort and engagement.
