2. What data I collect and why

Contact form submissions
When you fill in the contact form on this website, I collect your name, email address, and the message you send. I use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a student, to manage our working relationship. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) and, where a contract is being entered into, the performance of that contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).

Booking data via Cal.com
When you book a lesson or consultation through the calendar on this site, your name, email address, and chosen time slot are processed by Cal.com (Calcom Inc., USA). This constitutes a transfer of personal data to a third country. Cal.com is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and maintains a Data Processing Agreement with users. I use this data only to manage lesson bookings. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).

Website analytics
This site may use basic server-side analytics (access logs) to understand visitor numbers and identify technical issues. These logs may contain IP addresses. They are stored on the server for a maximum of 30 days and are not shared with third parties. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).

Fonts
This website loads fonts from Google Fonts (Google LLC, USA). When your browser requests these fonts, your IP address is transmitted to Google. I am working to self-host these fonts to eliminate this transfer. Until then, this constitutes a transfer of data to a third country under Art. 46 GDPR, based on Standard Contractual Clauses.
